Job summary

Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics/Shipping Coordinator at Arrow Off Road Guelph. You will manage inventory entries, ASN processing, and paperwork while supporting timely shipments.

You will coordinate with receivers, customers, and carriers, ensuring accuracy of data, packing lists, and shipping labels. Strong English and ERP/Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Secondary school or equivalent completion.
• Shipping/receiving or logistics experience required.
• Post-secondary education in logistics is an asset.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter purchase orders and validate stock with receivers.
• Process shipping reports and track orders to meet shipment dates.
• Create and manage shipping documentation, including customs docs and BOLs.
• Coordinate with carriers for pickups and shipments (FTL/LTL).
• Maintain inventory accuracy with cycle counts and data entry in systems.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Materials Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and execution of inventory entry, processing of logistical paperwork, TMS, or ASN entry, and administrative support.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Purchase order receipt entry and ensuring accuracy.
• Work with receivers to validate stock when required.
• Inputting in and out sheets to ensure accuracy of inventory in a timely manner.
• Process shipping reports to track and ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner according to shipment date while following specific customer guidelines.
• Identify and validate finished products to be shipped.
• Receive work orders into inventory and release customer orders through the visual software system to procure packing lists for customers.
• Create shipping documentation, including customs documents when necessary, Bill of Ladings, shipping labels, and any other relevant documents to support shipping and receiving.
• Responsible for accurate data entry in third-party transportation systems, scheduling appointments for pickups, preparing, and processing ASN’s as required.
• Coordinating with customers, contracted carriers and couriers such as FTL, LTL, Drayage, Expedite, FedEx, UPS, and Purolator.
• Inventory maintenance, cycle counting, adjustment,s and audits when required.
• Maintain, track, and archive custom documents, BOLs, receiving’s, and other important documents.
• Document and report any damages and discrepancies to the supervisor for accounting, reimbursement, and corrective actions.
• Compliance and support of all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Contribute and collaborate on work improvement initiatives, procedures, and policies.
• Properly recording/verifying the method of shipment, quantity, carton, weights, carrier, shipping terms, and carrier’s reference number on proper documents.
• Coordinating with customer service and carriers to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of shipments and billing.
• May determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
• May contact the carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
• Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Educational Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
• Shipping/receiving or logistics experience required.
• Post-secondary education in logistics or a related field is considered an asset.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Fluency in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to complete tasks in tight time frames while multitasking.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with concepts of an ERP system is an asset.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain safety.
• Great communication skills and teamwork.
