Job summary

Canduct Industries, a London, ON manufacturer, seeks a Purchasing & Inbound Logistics Coordinator to manage MRO sourcing, purchase orders, and supplier coordination. The role supports inbound logistics, coordinating with Warehouse, Production and Customer Service to maintain inventory accuracy and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in purchasing or logistics, strong MS Office skills, and a proactive approach to improving supplier performance and data integrity within ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of Purchasing or logistic management experience.
  • Completed Post Secondary Education required.
  • Proficient in MS Office, email, and can source information from the internet and learn new software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage MRO purchasing activities, including sourcing, ordering, supplier coordination, and delivery tracking.
  • Oversee the full purchase order lifecycle, ensuring accurate ERP records and timely status updates.
  • Maintain supplier communications to confirm orders, resolve issues, and expedite critical deliveries.
  • Generate and analyze weekly PO reports, validating supplier data and supporting buyer follow-up activities.
  • Reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices, resolving discrepancies related to quality, quantity, pricing, and documentation.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, working with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain shipping, customs, import/export, and freight documentation while supporting compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure material availability and support production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify supply risks, and support cycle counts and annual inventory activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and reduce supply chain risks.
