Job summary

Red Deer Polytechnic seeks a Manager, Student Care to lead Student Care, Intake and Mental Health & Wellbeing services at Red Deer campus. You will guide strategic goals, translate them into operational plans, and ensure high-quality wrap-around student supports that promote retention and success.

Responsibilities include leadership of cross-functional teams, collaboration with internal partners, and continuous service improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Health related field required.
• Registration under the Health Professions Act such as Registered Social Worker is required.
• 3-5 years experience as a registered health professional.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Student Care, Intake, and Mental Health & Wellbeing services.
• Develop and implement operational plans for the portfolio.
• Engage internal partners and community stakeholders to strengthen partnerships.
• Manage budgets with the Division/Operations Manager and oversee resources.
• Ensure services align with policies and regulatory requirements.
