Job summary

Confidential in Vaughan, Ontario seeks an experienced Planner to advance land development projects from due diligence through municipal approvals, servicing coordination, permitting and construction readiness.

This hands-on, individual-contributor role requires taking ownership of development applications, coordinating with municipalities, consultants and internal teams to move projects toward construction and timely approvals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Urban Planning, Land-Use Planning, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead land assessment and development strategy including zoning, density, servicing and approvals.
• Coordinate municipal approvals: Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law Amendments, site plans, variances and severances.
• Manage stakeholder relations with municipalities, authorities and utility providers.
• Coordinate project teams and consultants across planning, engineering and construction readiness.
• Track approval conditions and permitting requirements; support transition to estimating and construction.
