Job summary

Ontario Provincial Police is seeking a collaborative leader to provide planning, leadership and manage the delivery of operational and administrative programs and services as well as coordinate and develop client services strategies and the provision of executive support to the senior management, the branch management team and other OPP senior executives.

The successful candidate will be based at Orillia and work five days a week, contributing to strategic IT initiatives and cross-regional

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate complex proposals to senior management.
• Strong analytical capability for feasibility studies and cost estimates.
• Experience leading multiple large-scale IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepares business cases, proposals, and recommendations for senior management.
• Lead and manage projects for information technology requirements and management coordination of large, technically complex system.
• Guide strategic and business planning initiatives at the unit, section, and bureau levels.
• Collaborates with staff across regions and external partners to identify challenges and deliver solutions.
• Lead the creation and improvement of new or enhanced solutions that align with organizational goals.
