Job summary

BRP is seeking a Strategic Advisor, IT Contract Management to maximize value from IT contracts and minimize corporate risk within a large organization. You will work closely with Legal and Procurement to govern contracts and transform vendor relationships into strategic advantages.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in contract coordination/management, strong IT operations knowledge, and proven negotiation and drafting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in contract coordination or management.
• Substantial experience managing IT delivery and outsourcing contracts, including negotiating, reviewing, and executing complex agreements.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate strategic issues, requirement gaps, and negotiation challenges in IT contracts.
• Review and master contracts related to IT services and products; ensure compliance and support negotiations.
• Advise managers on vendor relationships and ensure contractual term compliance.
• Assess contract performance and spend; recommend value-maximizing strategies.
• Maintain contract governance and coordinate meetings with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Track contract inventory and key clauses; manage renewals and terminations.
• Identify and mitigate contract risks; propose best practices to managers.
• Monitor regulatory developments impacting contracts; adapt accordingly.
• Provide training on contract management best practices to internal teams.
