Job summary

Skilled Trades Ontario in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Manager, Strategic Initiatives and Program Delivery to lead the planning, implementation, and delivery of strategic programs that support the organization's mandate and priorities. The role oversees multi-stakeholder initiatives, governance, and reporting, and serves as the lead for UTIP and related modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience leading complex initiatives, programs, projects, or stakeholder portfolios.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder initiatives involving competing priorities and multiple partners.
• Experience leading staff and project teams.
• Experience developing strategic recommendations, briefing materials, and executive-level reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Serve as the program lead for assigned portfolios, including UTIP.
• Develop workplans, schedules, governance structures, and performance measures with funding commitments.
• Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies for program delivery.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and ensure timely deliverables.
