Job summary

Timber Mart in Toronto, ON is seeking an Import Coordination Administrator to support the import function under the Senior National Procurement Manager. The role focuses on scheduling, receiving, and documenting international shipments while ensuring accurate, timely service aligned with corporate goals.

You will manage documentation, licensing, duties and trade data, coordinate with vendors and members, and contribute to sustainable, profit-driven import operations within the Building Materials

Qualifications

• College/University degree in Logistics, Administration or Contract Management.
• 5 years’ experience in a senior administrative role overseeing importation of goods in Canada.
• Knowledge of customs rules and regulations for Canadian imports of building materials and hardlines.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and evaluate the import function to support profitability and sustainability.
• Manage operations for scheduling, receiving, and documenting import of foreign goods.
• Prepare and administer documentation for importing merchandise, licenses, duties and tariffs.
• Coordinate shipment logistics and internal customer service throughout the import process.
