Job summary

Pembina Pipeline Corporation in Calgary is seeking a Manager, Strategic Business Partnering (Operations) to translate business priorities into practical people strategies and lead a team of HR professionals.

You will partner with senior leaders across operations and project delivery to drive workforce planning, talent management and change initiatives in a safety-conscious, high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education and HR designation are assets.
• Progressive HR experience in a senior business-facing partnering role.
• Broad HR practices knowledge with skills in partnering, organization design, workforce planning, talent management, change and employee/labour relations.
• Strong business acumen to translate strategy into practical solutions.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and handle sensitive issues with judgment.
• Experience coaching HR professionals and building a collaborative team.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical capability with workforce data and insights.
• Experience in the energy industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as an integrator across HR, connecting leaders with the right HR expertise at the right time.
• Lead strategic HR business partnering team members, aligning priorities with plans and requirements.
• Build trusted relationships with leaders, providing practical, forward-looking advice on people matters.
• Lead, coach and develop HR Business Partners and Labour Relations professionals.
• Translate business needs into integrated people strategies and annual plans.
• Ensure enterprise HR programs are implemented consistently across the portfolio.
• Advise leaders through organizational change and sustainment.
• Identify workforce planning needs using data and external trends to form actions.
• Represent the HR leadership team and drive improvements in client experience.
• Contribute to strategic direction and operating effectiveness of HR services.
• Champion Pembina’s values and foster an inclusive, high-performing environment.
