Job summary
Cenovus Energy in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR support to the Operations & Technical Services leadership team. You will collaborate with HR partners and centres of expertise to drive people programs that align with business goals and workforce strategies.
This role is based in Calgary and focuses on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, talent outcomes, and workforce readiness while partnering with leaders to deliver
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, incl. 4+ years as HRBP.
- Post-secondary degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- CHRP designation or equivalent is an asset.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders to deliver strategic people solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Lead talent processes including reviews, succession planning, and workforce planning.
- Provide coaching on organizational design, change management, and leadership effectiveness.
- Use people data and insights to inform decisions.
- Advise on employee relations and policy interpretation.
