Job summary

ID Logistics Canada is seeking an experienced Site Human Resources Manager in Milton, Ontario to provide strategic and hands-on HR leadership for a fast-paced 3PL site. You will oversee labor relations, talent management, workforce planning, compliance, performance management, and employee engagement at a high-volume operation.

You will also support global HR initiatives, data accuracy, governance, and reporting, aligning site programs with corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR generalist or manager experience, preferably in logistics or distribution.
• Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
• Strong understanding of employment law, labor standards, and workplace health & safety regulations.
• Experience supporting global HR reporting, governance, or compliance.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP, SuccessFactors) and strong analytical/reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for workforce matters and labor‑management relationships.
• Partner with site leadership to develop workforce strategies supporting operational goals.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention, and talent development.
• Ensure compliance with provincial laws, health and safety, and company policies.
• Lead site performance management, coaching, evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Prepare recurring HR reports, headcount data, KPIs, and analytics for regional/global teams.
