Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Mississauga is seeking a strategic Human Resources Business Partner to translate business priorities into people strategies and drive execution across talent, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and workforce planning.

In this fast-paced role you will advise leaders, manage multiple HR initiatives, use HR data and AI-enabled tools responsibly, and partner across functions to deliver an integrated employee experience while advancing change and culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or a related discipline; CHRP/CHRL designation or equivalent experience is an asset.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive HR Business Partner experience in a fast-paced organization.
• Strong business acumen and ability to connect operational and commercial priorities to workforce solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives with sound decisions and deadlines.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with initiative and execution.
• Strong consulting, influencing and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to business leaders, developing understanding of priorities to shape people strategies.
• Identify risks and define practical solutions with measurable success.
• Lead multiple HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment with ownership and direction.
• Use workforce data and analytics to diagnose trends and support decisions.
• Champion responsible AI adoption in HR by identifying high-value use cases.
• Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
• Drive talent and performance priorities including reviews, succession planning and development actions.
• Coach leaders on leadership effectiveness, engagement, and accountability.
• Lead complex employee relations matters with fair, timely outcomes.
• Translate HR policies into practical guidance and scalable solutions.
