Gundersen Health System is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive financial performance, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. Collaborating with operational and executive leadership, you will deliver insights and support initiatives to enhance business performance.

You will develop forecasting models, perform variance analyses, and build Power BI dashboards to visualize key metrics across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7 years of accounting/financial analysis or audit experience.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to translate data into insights.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
• Experience with Power BI, Strata, or similar planning and data visualization tools.
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets and support leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Administrative Directors to develop strategic financial plans.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities; support growth strategies.
• Prepare financial analyses, charts, and presentations for senior management.
• Produce month-end reports and capital expenditure justifications.
• Perform analyses to set or reevaluate fees and drive revenue through projects.
• Develop productivity reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Create Power BI dashboards to visualize key financial metrics.
• Leverage Excel to manage complex datasets and models.
