Rand Accessories Inc. in Montreal seeks a Financial Controller to lead accounting, FP&A and BI tool enhancement in a growing fashion accessories group.

You will design financial frameworks, oversee budgeting, and partner with operations to drive performance across the organization. The role reports to the CFO, requires 4–6 years of accounting experience, bilingual French/English, and advanced Excel with SAP and Power BI experience.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA designation in progress or recently obtained is a significant asset.
• Four to six years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate environment or accounting firm.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with an ERP system such as SAP is an asset, as is experience using Power BI.
• Team-oriented mindset, autonomy, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility regarding responsibilities and working hours.
• Ability to work with large databases and systems such as BI, Momentis, Columbus, and other platforms.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required due to the company’s client base in the United States, Canada, and Asia.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement a financial framework for cash flow, AR/AP, inventory, and reconciliations.
• Foster financial accountability and strategic decision‑making.
• Develop key operational KPIs and objectives.
• Calculate commissions and royalties due to concession partners.
• Ensure contracts comply with company policies.
• Lead annual budgeting and reserve funds with the CFO.
• Oversee accounting function: assets, liabilities, investments, risks, reporting.
• Monitor financial position and provide variance analyses.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal/provincial regulations.
• Perform month-end closing controls.
• Oversee year-end audit process and working papers.
• Maintain internal controls to manage financial risks.
• Keep policies and procedures current.
• Prepare annual audited statements and liaise with auditors.
• Ensure GST/QST compliance and cross-border requirements.
• Maintain organized records.
• Design and optimize BI tools, dashboards, automated reports.
• Support CFO on strategic growth projects.
