Job summary

Joseph Ribkoff Inc. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the Canadian and US accounting operations from our Montreal base. You will drive month-end close, ensure tax compliance, and collaborate across departments to uphold accurate financial results.

The role requires a university degree in business/accounting, 7+ years in a finance leadership role, and fluency in French and English. ERP optimization and automation are key focus areas, with a strong asset for Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business/Accounting is required or equivalent.
• Professional designation is an asset.
• 7+ years in a related Accounting/Finance Management role.
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is required.
• Experience with Canadian and US compliance and tax requirements.
• Multi-entity, multi-currency experience is a strong asset.
• Experience with a mid-market/enterprise ERP like Dynamics 365 is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accounting operations for Canadian and US divisions.
• Leads monthly and annual close for both divisions and interprets results.
• Manages North American year-end audit as part of consolidation.
• Supports budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensures tax compliance with internal/external advisors.
• Improves ERP, automates AP and travel expenses.
• Leads Accounts Payables team and vendor relations.
• Collaborates with Treasury on vendor payments and cash flow.
• Recruitment and coaching of accounting teams.
