Job summary

You will close books under US GAAP, manage multi-entity consolidation across US, Canada, and UK, and drive revenue recognition and internal controls. This role partners with leadership to connect hiring and deployment plans to cash flow, pricing, and capital needs, with automation and ERP work to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with close and reporting ownership.
• CPA designation and strong US GAAP knowledge including ASC 606.
• Independent work experience in a small finance team or as the primary owner.
• Budgets, cash forecasts, financial models, and variance analysis ownership.
• Multi-entity accounting and cross-border coordination with external advisers.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under US GAAP.
• Manage multi-entity consolidation, foreign currency accounting, and intercompany transactions across US, Canadian, and UK entities.
• Own revenue recognition and oversee AP/AR with effective controls and tax/compliance coordination.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, connect hiring and deployment plans to budgets.
• Maintain cash forecasts, working capital, capex, and financing needs.
• Evaluate pricing, deployment economics, and financial diligence for fundraising.
