Job summary

Confidential Company in Canada is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead finance during a high-growth expansion across Canada and the United States. This executive role partners with the CEO to scale the business, strengthen financial infrastructure, and deliver board-ready reporting.

The CFO will own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial modeling, internal controls, ERP initiatives, and cross-border accounting standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including executive-level finance responsibilities.
• Experience leading finance within rapidly growing organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and US accounting standards and cross-border operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership, providing financial insight for growth and value creation.
• Develop and execute financial strategy, capital planning, and operational finance initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, modeling, and performance analysis.
• Elevate executive reporting with dashboards, KPIs, and board-level reporting.
• Oversee accounting functions, including financial reporting, GL, payroll, tax, treasury, and controls.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian and US standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.
• Lead ERP implementation and modernization to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.
• Build scalable financial systems and processes to support domestic and international growth.
• Partner with operations to improve profitability and financial visibility.
