Source Atlantic is seeking a Finance leader to direct accounting across Canada operations, anchored at our Bolt HQ in Alberta. You will drive US GAAP compliance, internal controls, and close processes while partnering with FP&A, Treasury, Operations, and leadership to support growth and finance transformation.

The role emphasizes scalable accounting processes, strong governance, and collaboration with auditors, with oversight of multi-site consolidation and system integrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• CPA designation required.
• Experience leading accounting teams within a complex, multi-site organization.
• Preference for candidates with distribution/industrial/wholesale/B2B sector experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal controls, and governance.
• ERP super-user experience including implementations or integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own technical accounting positions and ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Review significant judgments, estimates, and reserves with memos.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close; ensure audit readiness.
• Liaise with external auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Design and maintain SOX internal controls; lead testing and remediation.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, and Operations to reflect business performance.
• Support acquisitions, integrations, and system implementations.
• Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team.
