Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. is seeking a Director of Commercialization to lead the process of bringing new products to market.

You will manage cross-functional teams across commercial, I&D, marketing, operations, and supply chain to drive strategic initiatives and optimize the product portfolio. The role demands strong project management, packaging purchasing experience, and bilingual communication in French and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in product/commercialization roles.
• Project management experience, ideally with packaging purchasing exposure.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills across functions.
• Advanced French and English, both written and spoken.
• Commitment to supporting and serving clients and internal partners.
• Anticipation, proactivity, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of labeling rules in Canada, the USA and internationally is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead transversal projects from concept to commercialization with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with business units, operations and technology to drive product and packaging initiatives.
• Support a team of product developers and project managers to ensure long-term success.
• Assess feasibility, production optimization, complexity and profitability of new projects.
• Oversee portfolio planning including assortments, launches and delistings with SIOP alignment.
• Manage packaging budgets, Kosher certification contracts and related invoices.
