Job summary

Harbour Air Ltd. is seeking a CPA-designated Controller to lead our accounting team of 6–7 personnel in Vancouver on a hybrid schedule. This 12-month maternity-leave coverage role focuses on month-end close, IFRS-compliant reporting, and a pivotal integration with Pacific Coastal Airlines.

You will partner with the CFO and senior leaders to improve processes, controls, and financial performance during a period of growth and system implementations planned for 2027.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
• CPA designation in good standing.
• Minimum 10 years progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Controller or equivalent leadership role.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and external audit experience.
• Experience leading accounting teams and ERP implementations.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close process with accurate, timely reporting.
• Oversee AR/AP operations and accounting team of 6–7.
• Lead annual financial statements and external audit relationship.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
