The Coaching Studio, a Vancouver-based leadership development firm, is seeking a Controller to own financial performance and reporting. You will strengthen operating systems, enhance visibility, and empower leadership with data-informed decisions.

Reporting to the Studio President, you’ll partner with the VP Operations to scale finance while preserving the culture and agility that defines the firm. You will lead month-end closes, cash flow forecasting, and compliance, while building scalable

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
• ASPE knowledge, internal controls, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience in a professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of project-based and utilization-driven business models.
• Experience managing cash flow, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with external accountants, auditors, and advisors.
• CPA designation is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day financial operations and month-end close with reporting.
• Manage accounts receivable, payable, payroll, and vendor relationships.
• Forecast cash flow and maintain strong financial controls and compliance.
• Coordinate with external bookkeepers, accountants, and auditors.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to support leadership decisions.
• Support budgeting processes and monthly, quarterly, and annual planning.
