Job summary

West Coast LEAF Association in Vancouver, BC, seeks a Manager of Community Engagement for a 0.8 FTE temporary role through Aug 2029. Hybrid work arrangement with occasional travel.

You will build relationships with communities, coalitions, and partners, guiding engagement strategies and ensuring accountability. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead the Family Well-being Coalition, manage grants, and coordinate projects while centering Indigenous and equity-focused perspectives

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination for engagement initiatives, including planning, facilitation, partner communication and follow-through.
• Build and steward respectful, reciprocal and accountable relationships with priority communities, coalitions and partners.
• Work with staff to design accessible and meaningful engagement processes, including clear purposes, consent, appropriate compensation and feedback loops.
• Bring community perspectives and lessons learned into organizational planning, advocacy and education.
• Help staff build and sustain community relationships while strengthening continuity of knowledge and commitments.
