West Coast LEAF is seeking a Manager of Community Engagement in Vancouver, BC, for a 3-year, 0.8 FTE position with a hybrid work setup. You will develop and steward community relationships, manage key coalitions, and ensure accountability across partners while driving WCL’s advocacy and public education agenda.
The role focuses on building trust with priority communities, coordinating grants, and guiding engagement strategies that inform organizational planning and decision-making.

WCLis seeking a Manager of CommunityEngagementtodevelop and stewardcommunity relationships, coalitionpartnershipsand organizational accountability. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager will support reciprocal engagement with communities, movements,coalitionsand partners connected to WCL’s work.The Manager will combinerelationship-building, project leadership andpractical follow-through and help ensure that community knowledgeand lived experienceinform WCL’s advocacy, public legal education, organizationallearningand strategic direction.
The positionprovidesleadership for key engagement initiatives,notablythe Family Well-being Coalition,supportsrelationships with communities and coalition partners, collaborateson cross-organizational projects,supportsthe Indigenous AdvisoryCircleandstrengthenscommunity-engagement practicesacross WCL.Therole is alsoresponsible forprojectplanningand managementofkey grants.
