Job summary

Desjardins Group in Rimouski is seeking a temporary Communications Advisor to support caisse managers in selecting and applying communications solutions, programs and tools. You will develop annual communications activities plans within budget, advise on activities for client segments and partners, monitor service quality, sponsorships, and help produce the caisse’s social responsibility report.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of relevant experience, French language

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.
• Knowledge of French, both spoken and written, is required.
• Familiarity with Desjardins products and services is expected.
• Understanding of communication and advertising methods is preferred.
• Knowledge of financial services cooperatives helps in this role.

Responsibilities

• Participate with the caisse management committee to develop the annual communications activities plan within the allocated budget.
• Provide advisory support to managers on communication activities for various client segments, community organizations, officers, managers and employees.
• Ensure and uphold a positive image of the caisse and Desjardins Group by identifying risk situations and informing leaders.
• Monitor activities related to service quality for members and clients (surveys, complaints).
• Receive and analyze sponsorship, donation and fundraising requests and conduct follow-ups.
• Help produce the caisse’s social responsibility report.
• Analyze and select communication methods for members and clients (letters, mass mailings).
• Produce and communicate information (local and internal newspapers).
• Support caisse representatives in maintaining business relationships with client groups and organizations.
• Organize events (information sessions, seminars, School Caisse activities).
• Manage social media communities by writing posts and ensuring comment relevance and interactions.
• Identify needs and follow up on ad placement guidelines with partners.
• Follow up on merchandising proposals and organize logistics for caisse events.
