Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in customer service or sales support within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience coordinating across sales, estimating, engineering, production and logistics.
• Strong business sense with a customer-first mindset and proactive approach.
• Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading or mentoring others is a plus; ability to reinforce processes and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer inquiry process from initial request through resolution with clear ownership and timely follow-up.
• Coordinate between customers and internal teams including sales, estimating, engineering, production, quality, finance, shipping, and logistics.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to the Sales Support team, aligning priorities and reinforcing accountability.
• Anticipate customer needs and proactively resolve issues to improve response times.
• Support quoting and commercial activities by coordinating information and internal handoffs through to completion.
• Advocate for customers while balancing commercial priorities and internal capabilities.
• Identify gaps and help develop SOPs, templates, checklists, and standards for consistency and efficiency.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsiveness, negotiation, and follow-through.
