Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of Credit Qualifications according to established standards
• Knowledge of laws pertaining to Consumer Collections
• Knowledge of BMO products and services
• Strong verbal & written communication and collaboration skills
• In-depth analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Review delinquent, high-risk or written-off accounts for collections opportunities
• Advise customers on payment strategies and suitable products
• Provide collections-related sales and service to customers or prospects
• Manage communication and documentation to ensure status is transparent to customers
• Develop and implement loss mitigation strategies and processes
• Support escalation and reporting through dashboards and data analyses
