Job summary

The Evolve Agency Group in Burlington, Canada, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to act as the hub between clients and internal teams, translating needs into briefs and ensuring campaigns stay on time and on budget.

You will build strong client relationships, anticipate needs, manage multiple projects across digital and traditional channels, mentor junior staff, and help grow the agency’s business through clear communication and strategic collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management/client service experience in advertising, creative or integrated marketing agencies.
• Experience independently managing client relationships and multiple projects.
• Experience in digital account management.
• Strong understanding of the marketing and creative development process.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence leading client conversations.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing budgets, estimates, scopes and timelines.
• Ability to understand broader business and marketing objectives beyond individual projects.
• Experience mentoring junior team members is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build strong day-to-day client relationships and develop a solid understanding of their business, brand and priorities.
• Act as a trusted partner, anticipating client needs and proactively identifying solutions.
• Manage projects and campaigns from brief through execution, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.
• Translate client needs into clear, actionable briefs for internal teams.
• Lead client communication, including status meetings, project updates, timelines, approvals and follow-ups.
• Partner with Strategy, Creative, Media, Production and other disciplines to ensure work is integrated and aligned with the brief.
• Review work prior to client delivery to ensure it is accurate, strategically aligned and presentation-ready.
• Manage scopes, estimates, budgets and timelines, proactively identifying risks or changes.
• Support senior account leadership with overall account financial health.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and grow the business.
• Support the development of presentations, recommendations and client-facing materials.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior account team members.
