Job summary

RBC in Ottawa is seeking an Associate to provide proactive sales support and client service for a team of Financial Planners. You will help meet sales objectives by delivering a differentiated client experience and collaborating with partners to identify client needs and goals, strengthening client relationships and making it easier for them to do business with RBC.

Qualifications

• Mutual Funds accreditation or relevant certificates such as Canadian Securities Course.
• Breadth of expertise across everyday banking, investments and credit.
• Strong client contact routines to support retention and growth.
• Adaptability, willingness to learn, high personal ethics and drive to succeed.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to leverage partner capabilities across RBC to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-interaction enablement and client service for Financial Planners.
• Identify client needs, refer opportunities, and track progress against sales plans.
• Lead with advice and promote Digital tools as a Digital Ambassador.
• Ensure adherence to policies and manage operational risk.
