Job summary

Cronos Group based in Stayner, Ontario is seeking a Material Planning Analyst to drive end‑to‑end material planning for direct and indirect materials, ensuring on‑time availability and optimized inventory. You will translate forecasts into material requirements and maintain min/max levels to support production.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Supply Planning to reduce excess inventory, manage suppliers, and ensure data integrity in a regulated cannabis environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in materials planning or supply planning in a regulated environment.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and SOX/compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end material planning for direct and indirect materials.
• Translate demand forecasts into material requirements.
• Establish and refine min/max inventory levels and planning parameters.
• Monitor material availability and manage shortages or disruptions.
• Collaborate with Procurement on supplier communication and issue resolution.
• Support inventory optimization and lifecycle management, including NPI readiness.
