  • Deliver profitable revenue growth by expanding strategic customer relationships and developing new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Materials, and Operations to ensure customer expectations are consistently achieved.
  • Identify customer requirements that may support future manufacturing capabilities and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and sales activity records within the CRM system.

The Requirements:

  • 8+ years of business development experience with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Technical understanding of machining, fabrication, weld overlay, or similar manufacturing processes, with ability to read and interpret technical drawings and customer manufacturing specifications.
  • Established credibility and relationships within strategic industrial markets, with the ability to open doors and develop new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success developing OEM relationships and selling complex manufacturing solutions into the aerospace, defence, marine, mining, energy, and government sectors.
  • Proven success building long-term customer relationships while developing new business within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles involving engineering, procurement, operations, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility at all levels of customer organizations.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to align customer needs with Manluk’s manufacturing capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently, proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
