Job summary

Wajax in Belleville, Ontario is seeking a Branch Manager to lead and mentor branch staff toward achieving strategic objectives, while ensuring safe, productive operations. You will drive budgeting, performance metrics, and inventory coordination to meet customer demand and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business/management or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with budgets, analyzing reports and developing targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and mentor branch employees to achieve strategic and operational vision.
• Prepare and administer annual budgets and monthly updates.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and promote best practices.
• Ensure staffing plans support high performance and development.
• Coordinate with Inventory Planning and Purchasing to meet demand and service levels.
• Manage branch performance, safety, training and customer service.
• Engage with customers, suppliers and colleagues to fulfill orders within cost expectations.
• Meet with managers to design and implement effective work plans.
