We are hiring a Strategic Account Manager - Oncology

Taking care of your well-being is essential - for both you and us:

  • Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including access to telemedicine (from Day 1).
  • Group RRSP with employer contributions of up to 4%.
  • Employee Assistance Program (because your physical and mental well-being matters to us).
  • Professional development programs and career advancement opportunities.
  • A calendar of free activities throughout the year, organized by our social committee.
Why work with us?

For more than 35 years, we have been committed to supporting healthcare professionals so they can focus on what matters most: the well-being of Canadians. Take your career to the next level and combine your expertise with our ambitions. We are experiencing strong growth, and exciting opportunities await you.

As a Strategic Account Manager in Oncology, you will serve as JAMP’s primary institutional contact within an assigned set of Canadian cancer centres and oncology accounts — a visible, trusted representative of a company genuinely invested in expanding the reach of better cancer care.

What sets this role apart commercially is JAMP’s portfolio. Gaining and sustaining formulary access for biosimilars and specialty generic oncology products requires a different kind of commercial acumen — grounded in both clinical evidence and institutional economics. You will need to build the case for adoption with pharmacy, hospital administration, and provincial payers, connecting cost-containment priorities to real patient access outcomes.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, Oncology, you will be accountable for delivering on sales objectives and executing strategic account plans across your assigned Canadian territory.

What you will do on a daily basis:
  • Achieve and exceed sales objectives through disciplined, insight-driven account and territory planning.
  • Develop account plans tailored to Canadian oncology institutions, including academic, regional, and community cancer centres.
  • Monitor formulary changes, competitive activity, and provincial policy developments to continuously refine your account strategies.
  • Build demand for JAMP’s generic and biosimilar portfolio by clearly communicating clinical and economic value to healthcare providers and institutions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned oncology accounts, building trusted relationships with oncologists, hematologists, urologists, pharmacists, drug access navigators, and other key healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the Canadian oncology ecosystem — including cancer centre governance, provincial formulary processes, and drug access pathways (CADTH/CDA-AMC, pCPA, INESSS) — and apply that knowledge to drive product access and prescribing decisions.
  • Communicate clinical and scientific information clearly and credibly to support informed prescribing.
  • Connect patients and prescribers with JAMP Care™, JAMP’s comprehensive bilingual patient support program.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and the Retail Commercial and Corporate accounts team to align on priorities and deliver a consistent experience to customers.
  • Share market insights, account intelligence, and competitive observations with internal stakeholders in a structured and timely way.
Compliance and Governance
  • Manage territory budgets in full compliance with Health Canada regulations and the IMC Code of Ethical Practices.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and timely activity reporting in accordance with company standards.
What you need to succeed in this role:
  • University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in Canada.
  • Working knowledge of generics, biosimilars, Health Canada approval pathways, and patient support programs.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s licence; willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory.
The following qualifications would be considered strong assets:
  • Background in oncology, hematology, or specialty pharmaceutical sales.
  • Existing relationships within Canadian cancer centres, academic hospitals, or specialty pharmacy.
