Job summary

Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Inc. is seeking a Stores Person to manage inventory, receive shipments, and move materials to support mill operations. You will verify incoming items, maintain records, and help minimize excess inventory.

The role involves assisting tradespersons and operators, operating a forklift, and participating in weekend on-call rotations. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with SAP and MS Office experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure spare parts and operating supplies are available when needed while maintaining inventory levels.
• Maintain inventory records and the Stores system to support maintenance and operational requirements.

• Assist tradespersons and operators in locating parts and materials.
• Perform material handling duties, including counting, weighing, sorting, receiving and issuing inventory.
• Operate a forklift to unload, transport and store materials as required.
• Support store operations by providing relief coverage and cross-training in other store functions.
• Participate in a scheduled weekend on-call rotation.
