Job summary

Adidas Canada is seeking a Retail Team Lead to guide hourly associates and support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and exceptional customer service. You will oversee daily operations, training, and merchandising to maximize profitability, while maintaining standards and store appearance.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Prior retail experience and knowledge of POS systems are beneficial for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or in progress.
• Retail experience preferred (3–6 months).
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and guide hourly associates to maximize sales and customer service.
• Provide reinforcement and coaching to staff to maintain momentum and achieve targets.
• Conduct training sessions on product knowledge, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in hiring documentation and staffing decisions.
• Display merchandise effectively to attract customers and promote sales.
• Manage labor costs and scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Develop staff through coaching and performance feedback.
• Ensure accurate checkout processes and POS system usage.
