Job summary

Silver Hills is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor (Night) in Abbotsford to lead a team of 10 hourly staff in a busy, temperature-controlled facility. You will own night operations across freezer and dry areas, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and implement continuous improvements with ERP and WMS tools.

You will report to the Operation Excellence Manager and play a pivotal role in meeting warehouse targets while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture on the floor.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant supervisory experience.
• 1–5 years of experience in a frozen food storage facility.
• Experience with ERP and WMS systems.
• Strong supervisory, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to document and manage large data sets and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all night-shift warehouse operations across freezer and dry storage areas (picking, staging, shipping).
• Ensure GMP, food safety, quality standards and SOPs are followed.
• Maintain product integrity through proper storage and FEFO inventory rotation.
• Monitor temperature, storage conditions, and warehouse capacity; escalate deviations.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse team to meet safety, quality, productivity and service targets.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, Maintenance, and Logistics to resolve issues.

Position: Warehouse Supervisor (Night) Reports to: Operation Excellence Manager

We are looking for aWarehouse Supervisorto join our Warehouse team! Our Warehouse Supervisor will directly oversee a team of 10 hourly employees in a very busy and rapidly growing temperature-controlled warehouse environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all our finished goods processes, including order picking and shipping. This involves taking ownership of these processes and leading improvement projects. It also includes meeting warehouse targets through management and accountability of hourly employees and will ensure compliance with safety, quality, policies, and procedures.

Knowledge & skills

• You have 5-10 years of relevant supervisory experience

• You have 1-5 years of experience working in a frozen food storage facility

things you will do…

• Oversee all night-shift warehouse operations across freezer and dry storage areas, including picking, staging, and shipping.

• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, quality standards, sanitation requirements, and company SOPs.

• Maintain product integrity through proper storage, handling, identification, segregation, and FEFO inventory rotation.

• Monitor freezer temperature records, storage conditions, and warehouse capacity, escalating deviations as required.

• Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts, location audits, inventory reconciliation, and system transaction accuracy.

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and service targets.

• Promote a safe working environment by enforcing forklift, pedestrian, material-handling, and warehouse safety procedures.

• Monitor operational KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate with QA, Production, Maintenance, and Logistics to resolve operational issues and meet customer requirements.

• Ensure accurate shift reporting, incident documentation, and effective handover to the incoming team.

• Valid Forklift Certification

• Available to work Sunday:7AM - 3:30PM, Monday - Thursday: 11PM - 7:30AM
