Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Markham, ON is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution across truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards.

You will lead and coach store teams, ensuring SOPs, pricing integrity, promotional execution and a customer-ready environment. Minimum 3+ years of retail leadership experience is required, with flexibility for nights, weekends and early mornings in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.
Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
Attention to pricing, merchandising and in-stock accuracy.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
Ensure execution of policies, standards, and floor leadership with strong service.
Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
Maintain a clean, organized store environment including backroom and sales floor.
