Journeys is seeking an energetic store professional to recruit, train, and manage staff while achieving sales goals. You will help protect assets, control expenses, and pursue growth opportunities in a dynamic teen retail environment.

The role offers 45 hours per week, with night and weekend shifts, and a path toward Manager in Training. Base pay plus commission and bonus potential accompany excellent employee discounts and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail sales experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn and complete training for growth.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals.
• Recruit, interview, and hire in-store staff as needed.
• Train and develop a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback and coaching to staff.
• Ensure company initiatives are implemented as directed.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews.
• Recognize staff and develop growth within the company.
• Supervise daily store operations and loss prevention.
• Plan weekly staffing in line with policy.
• Provide a fun, full-service customer experience.
• Resolve customer issues effectively.
