Canadian Tire Stores seeks a Store Manager to lead the retail floor, support Department Managers, and ensure customer satisfaction and effective store execution. You will report to the General Manager/Associate Dealer and shape the store’s performance through leadership and hands-on guidance.

The role emphasizes achieving sales and customer experience targets, coordinating daily operations, and fostering an inclusive, safety-conscious work environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience of retail execution and operations in a senior management role.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of retail and financial principles.
• Ability to understand and operate point of sale equipment and inventory computer systems.
• College or University degree (asset).

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture that values excellent customer experience.
• Reinforce prioritizing customers and setting realistic expectations on task delivery through retail metrics.
• Provide a strong floor presence and interface regularly with customers to assess experience.
• Achieve sales goals, productivity and customer experience targets set by management.
• Plan and manage work and projects in all areas of the store.
• Coach and support the Management Team to meet objectives and profitability.
