Zumiez Intercity in Thunder Bay, ON is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our team, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will recruit, train, coach, and develop staff, manage daily operations, and ensure merchandise presentation aligns with brand standards while meeting performance goals.

The role requires a proactive leader with energy, accountability, and a passion for developing others; flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail experience, including leadership or management experience.

Zumiez Intercity is looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our team in Thunder Bay, ON.

As Store Manager, you will take ownership of the overall success of the store by leading and developing your team, driving sales performance, maintaining operational excellence, and creating an engaging customer experience. We are looking for a leader who brings energy, accountability, competitiveness, and a genuine passion for developing others.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating store environment
• Provide ongoing feedback and development to help employees reach their potential
• Build and develop future leaders within the store
• Drive sales and profitability by setting clear expectations and holding the team accountable
• Analyze store performance and identify opportunities to improve results
• Lead the team in delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Motivate and recognize employees for strong performance

Operations

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure company standards are consistently executed
• Maintain accurate inventory and support effective inventory management
• Execute merchandising, floor sets, and company initiatives
• Ensure the store is organized, safe, and ready to deliver an excellent customer experience
