Job summary

EQ3 St-Laurent in Montréal, QC, seeks a Store Manager to lead our St-Laurent team, drive customer experience, and deliver strong business results. You will own store performance, develop a high-performing sales team, and create an inspiring environment where employees and customers feel supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of progressive retail management experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing a retail sales team.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing targets, payroll, budgets, inventory, and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing retail sales team.

• Maintain a visually inspiring showroom reflecting EQ3's brand standards.
• Collaborate with ASM to manage priorities, performance, and execution.
• Partner with HR to recruit, onboard, and retain talent.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements.

EQ3 is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Store Manager to lead our St-Laurent team. In this role, you will take ownership of the store's overall performance, develop a high-performing sales team, and create an inspiring environment where employees and customers feel genuinely supported.

THE DETAILS

You'll be joining our team at 4428 Saint-Laurent Boulevard, Montréal, Quebec, in a full-time capacity.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing retail sales team
• Create an engaging and collaborative workplace that promotes accountability, professional growth, and employee recognition
• Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities
• Develop and execute sales strategies that support store targets, customer needs, and overall business objectives
• Monitor key retail metrics and identify opportunities to improve sales, productivity, profitability, and the customer experience
• Ensure every customer receives knowledgeable, consultative, and personalized service
• Oversee daily store operations, including scheduling, payroll, inventory, expenses, and budget management
• Maintain a visually inspiring showroom that reflects EQ3's brand and merchandising standards
• Partner with the Assistant Store Manager to establish priorities, manage performance, and ensure consistent operational execution
• Partner with Human Resources to recruit, onboard, develop, and retain talented employees
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and employee development conversations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and applicable health and safety requirements

What You Bring To The Table

• A minimum of three years of progressive retail management experience; a combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing a successful retail sales team
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing sales targets, payroll, budgets, inventory, and key performance indicators
• A customer-focused leadership style and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships
• Excellent communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• The ability to balance strategic priorities with the day-to-day demands of a busy retail environment
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint or STORIS is considered an asset
• An understanding of visual merchandising, retail trends, market competition, and evolving customer needs
• Experience in furniture, home décor, interior design, fashion, or another premium customer-focused retail environment is considered an asset
• Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Design, Retail Management, or a related field is considered an asset
• Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
