Staples Canada is seeking an experienced retail manager to drive store performance and customer satisfaction. You will lead a dynamic team, model excellence in brand standards, and implement continuous improvements to deliver sales growth and exceptional service.

The role emphasizes strategic vision, effective people management, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve store targets while upholding health, safety, and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably as a General Manager.
• Proven experience achieving sales and service targets with a customer-centered approach.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization, organization and multi-tasking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience coaching, developing talent and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operational and Sales Excellence by modeling and nurturing our sales culture and brand standards.
• Provide leadership, motivate and empower the team, and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Develop and execute a strategic vision to promote a customer-first mentality across the store team.
• Monitor budgets and analyze reports to achieve financial targets.
• Pursue business development opportunities and drive sales conversion with customers for B2B solutions.
• Manage scheduling, coach talent, recruit, and foster employee engagement.
• Communicate initiatives and results, act as a change leader.
• Ensure Health & Safety, Asset Protection, Privacy, and policy compliance.
