Job summary

Passion Dental Group is seeking a reliable Sterilization Assistant for Camp Sayahh Kids Dental Care in Cochrane, Alberta. You will help create a safe, clean and well-prepared environment for every patient and support the clinical team with sterilization routines.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental or healthcare sterilization/infection control role is preferred; however, we will train the right candidate.
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Friendly, professional demeanour with a patient-first mindset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms according to clinic and industry protocols.
• Maintain proper functioning of sterilization equipment and ensure regular documentation of cycles.
• Organize and restock operatories to keep the clinic running smoothly.
• Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials.
• Support the clinical team to ensure every patient receives care in a safe and prepared environment.
