Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. is hiring a Cold storage forklift operator packing at night in Bedford, Estrie. You will move frozen vegetables to the correct locations under the foreman’s guidance, following the production schedule to support efficient nightly operations.

• Provide the production lines with raw materials (vegetables).

• Communicate at all times with the mixer operator as well as the stock control attendant.
• Help open vegetable boxes and apply a rubber band.
• Keep storage spaces clean and safe.

Schedule: Week 1: Sun-Tue 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

Week 2: Tue 7:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. Wed-Thu 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. Fri 6:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m.

Salary: $23.15 per hour + $2.00 forklift driver premium + $1.75 night premium = $26.90 /hr

The forklift operator (cold storage) acts under the directives of his foreman. It ensures that boxes of frozen vegetables are moved to the appropriate locations in a safe manner.
