Job summary

You will ensure equipment is in working order, perform quality testing and report issues to the supervisor, contributing to safe patient care and efficient operating rooms.

This temporary, full-time role operates in Innisfail Health/MH Care Ctr with day shifts, typically 7.75 hours,

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program.
• Certification as HSPA or CSA in Healthcare Sterile Processing.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, reassemble and sterilize hospital supplies and instruments.
• Apply aseptic technique and Universal Precautions to prevent infections.
• Ensure instrumentation and equipment are in proper working order; perform quality testing and report problems.
