Job summary

Alberta Health Services seeks a Working Leader - Certified Medical Device Reprocessing Technician in St. Paul Health Centre. You will orient and coach Surgical Processors, set priorities, and ensure policy adherence across the Medical Device Reprocessing unit.

You may support performance evaluations and act as a management delegate on operational issues, contributing to a safe, efficient reprocessing workflow.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited MDR program.
• Completion of an HSPA or CSA certification.

Responsibilities

• Orient, support, and coach Surgical Processors.
• Set daily and shift-based priorities within the department.
• Act as a formal resource to staff and delegate operational issues.
• Provide input for annual performance evaluations of surgical processing staff.

Required Qualifications:

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months experience in Surgical Reprocessing.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year experience in a healthcare facility-surgical reprocessing.
