Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting Journeyperson Steamfitter/Pipefitters to join the Quinn Construction Maintenance team for an outage at the Ineos site near Red Deer, Alberta. The work runs September 21 to October 2 and LOA is available for those living outside the area.

Steamfitters will lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals or fuel. Safety certs and a valid driver's license are required, with a focus on plant shutdowns and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Pipefitter Journeyperson or Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certification.
• ESC Fall Protection certification.
• ESC Confined Space certification.
• Satisfactory Drug & Alcohol Test.
• Valid Canadian Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Remove and replace worn components; perform general maintenance and may work on plant shutdowns.

Steamfitter – pipefitters lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Pipefitters also remove and replace worn components, do general maintenance work and may work on plant shut-downs.

LOA is available for qualified candidates who live outside the area
