Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting Apprentice Steamfitter/Pipefitters to join the Quinn Construction Maintenance team for an Outage from September 21 - October 2 at the Ineos site near Red Deer, Alberta.

Steamfitters lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals or fuel; they also perform general maintenance and may work on plant shutdowns. LOA accommodations are available for qualified candidates who live outside the area.

Qualifications

• Must hold Pipefitter Apprentice status or Red Seal Certification.
• CSTS 2020 Fundamentals required.
• Training in fall protection is required.
• Training in confined space is required.
• Drug and alcohol test satisfactory.
• Valid Canadian driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals or fuel.
• Perform general maintenance and may work on plant shutdowns as needed.
• Support outage activities and ensure safety and compliance on site.

Jardeg is recruiting Apprentice Steamfitter/Pipefitters to join the Quinn Construction Maintenance team for an Outage from September 21 - October 2 at the Ineos site near Red Deer, Alberta.

Steamfitter – pipefitters lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Pipefitters also remove and replace worn components, do general maintenance work and may work on plant shut-downs.

LOA is available for qualified candidates who live outside the area
