Job summary

Jardeg-Construction is seeking a Steamfitter/Pipefitter Foreperson for the Dow Path2Zero site in Fort Saskatchewan. Responsibilities include layout, fabrication, maintenance and repair of piping systems used in heating, cooling, and processing operations.

The role requires CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, Confined Space entry ability, and the capability to work in extreme weather. Valid work authorization in Canada and pre-access drug/alcohol testing are required.

Qualifications

• Confined Space and Entry
• Must be able to work in extreme weather temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test

• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
