Job summary

FWS Group of Companies is seeking Steamfitters/Pipefitters for a project in British Columbia. The role involves coordinating daily site activities with the Superintendent, installing pipe spools, and maintaining piping systems used across heating and cooling processes.

Safety and reliability are emphasized, including equipment handling and potential drug testing. The position requires an apprenticeship enrollment or pipefitting experience, a valid driver’s license, and readiness for a 14/14

Qualifications

• Appropriate level of experience in pipefitting or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
• Must be able to work a 14/14 work rotation with extended time away from home.
• Own and maintain basic trade tools.
• Pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing may be required due to client requirements.

• Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports.
• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Responsible for safe use of equipment including forklift, skid steer loader, scissor lifts, and power tools.
