Job summary

FWS Group of Companies is seeking a Steamfitter/Pipefitter for a project in British Columbia. You will support the site Superintendent, coordinate daily activities, and handle hydrotest and pipe spool installations within modular assemblies.

You must have pipefitting experience or be in an Apprenticeship, a valid driver’s license, and own basic tools. A 14/14 rotation with time away from home is required; drug testing may be needed.

Qualifications

• Appropriate level of experience in pipefitting or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
• Must be able to work a 14/14 work rotation with extended time away from home.
• Own and maintain basic trade tools.
• Pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing may be required due to client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities at the construction site with the Superintendent.
• Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within modular assemblies.
• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems for process needs.
• Operate safe use of equipment including forklift, skid steer, scissor lifts, and power tools.
